The Low-energy sequential-action prehensor, or LESA Prehensor ([WWW]patent), was developed by Brad Veatch at [WWW]ADA Technologies. The LESA is unique among body powered devices in that it is capable of both Voluntary Opening and Voluntary Closing actions, and also has adjustable closing strength in the voluntary opening setting.

The LESA device is experimental and is not available for sale. It is not known if or when the device may make it to production.
