We've noticed that both upper and lower extremity prosthetic users tend to become experts at repairing and tweaking adjustments of their prostheses. And they're not always near the prosthetic clinic. For this reason, it helps to have a stash of rubber bands, wrenches, spectra or extra cables, super glue, and whatever else tends to come in handy to get you through the trip you're on, or to your next visit to the prosthetist.
We're using the sections below, the talk page and the
discussion on the group page to collect your suggestions for what ought to go in such a kit. Our plan is to get them together and find a place to assemble and offer them for sale. Of course, this is open, so you could just make one yourself.
