Using a term borrowed from robotics, a prosthetic terminal device is a modular appliance installed on a prosthetic arm. Terminal devices can be generally classified as being anthropomorphic (hand-formed) or non-anthropomorphic (often hooks). On this page we will attempt to list all of the known body-powered and mechatronic terminal devices that are currently produced or available. For devices that were produced in the past, see Terminal Devices - Experimental or Out of Production.
